Return To Zero - Film Screening

Updated: Dec 9, 2020

Teddy's Wish hosted an exclusive UK screening of the film 'Return to Zero' at the Everyman Cinema, Kings Cross on Tuesday 25th June.

The film is based on the true story of a couple Maggie (Minnie Driver) and Aaron (Paul Adelstein) who are preparing for the arrival of their first child. Just weeks before their due date, they are devastated to discover that their baby son has died in the womb and will be stillborn. Return to Zero shares the story of Maggie and Aaron as they struggle to cope with the loss of their baby boy, and then begin on the painful journey of rediscovering hope.

The evening raised over £5,000 with funds going towards our annual retreat for bereaved parents: 'Reflect, Restore, Renew' . The weekend gives parents time away from the distractions of everyday life to connect with their grief and other bereaved parents in a supporting, caring environment.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to support our important cause.

"Our beautiful daughter ran ahead almost 10 months ago, and I have thrown myself into many things since in a desperate search of something that might make it all just a tiny bit more bearable... I can confidently say that this weekend was the single most useful tool. I believe I have met a community for life, and I don't feel so alone anymore.”
